Yustinus Prastowo, Executive Director, Center for Indonesia Taxation Analysis, Indonesia

Mr Yustinus will share update on Indonesian tax amnesty. Tax Amnesty is a breakthrough to address tax problems in Indonesia, in which the Tax Authorities will waive off past taxes and penalties to conglomerates and individuals parking billions of dollars worth of funds overseas, in a bid to reinvest that money in Indonesia, as well as in an effort to expand the taxpayer base. The Indonesian government has completed drafting the Tax Amnesty Bill and to pass it into law by March 2016. As such, this session is critical in order to prepare for Indonesian tax amnesty and maximizing the opportunity to get the lowest tax rate in the early months of its implementation.
