Creating new level of opportunity to consolidate best practices in the Judiciary transformation framework in order to improve the quality of justice and judicial performance across Asia Pacific, Africa, Latin America, Middle East, Europe and the region, as well as exchange experience to establish robust partnerships to enhance pedagogical effectiveness and embracing the culture of performance management

The Shangri-La Dialogue for the Judiciary was initiated on 18 August 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand. The premiere event was attended amongst the VVIPs including Chief Justice Dragomir Milojevic, President, Supreme Court of Cassation/President, High Court Council, Republic of Serbia. The 2nd Annual Shangri-La Dialogue for the Judiciary is a timely opportunity to create a platform for benchmarking and networking as well as the possibility to exchange experiences with fellow Judicial Officers, including Chief Justices, Judges, Court Registrars, judicial stakeholders and officials from the Ministry of Justice across Asia Pacific, Africa, Latin America, Middle East, Europe and the region. Delegates will convene in Bangkok, Thailand to facilitate discussion on judiciary transformation framework, governance structure, strategic and sharing of perspectives in order to consolidate best practices in judicial performance and improving access to justice. Sufficient time has been set aside to discuss critical issues and perspective, including development in the judiciary transformation innovation and performance management around the world and to exchange experience between different juristic and appointive systems. In addition, delegates will have sufficient opportunity to connect, engage and establish robust partnerships in order to enhance pedagogic effectiveness and share experiences on management of judicial court as well as taking a closer look at embracing the culture of performance management in order to entrench accountability and effectiveness of the Judiciary and the Courts.
